Abhaya Educational Society is a nonprofit, non – government organization, registered on February 27, 2008. The location of our NGO is at Ramavarrappadu, Vijayawada Rural Mandal, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. The society has commenced its initiatives with the specific objective of implementing programs as well as schemes for the welfare of poor and backward people in rural and urban areas, focusing attention on SHG women and their federations, etc. The organization has designed its activities, which are constantly implemented with special emphasis on the betterment and upliftment of women and children who are deprived of socio-economic and cultural developments. Besides achieving women's empowerment and gender equality, Abhaya Educational Society is active, energetic, enthusiastic, and well-experienced team members to plan and implement various development programs and activities for the development of poor people in rural and urban areas.

Ramakoti SHG women farmers producers company has advanced as a solution to challenges faced by the Rural Mango and Tomato farmers in Krishna District. During a low margin sale days, farmers were used to dispose of the tomato’s and fallen mangos, which are probable income sources if dried and processed. Abhaya Educational Society during a baseline survey, identified the need and motivated rural farmers to form groups to help each other and generate self-sustainable income through this innovative market approach.
AES is working with Farmers in Nuzvid Mandal. In this Mandal most of the farmers cultivate Tomatoes and Mango. 4 of every 10 farmers are into this cultivation and they all are schedules tribes. During high yields, they do not get minimum sales and the price is dropped. These excess tomatoes are used for preparing verities of products such as Tomato Pickles, Tomato Powder, Tomato Soup, Tomato Souse, Tomato Puree, and other allied products of Tomato recipes. In this crisis AES with the support of NABARD has implemented the LEDP programs with local Self Help Groups to improve their livelihoods and develop business activities and increase economic sustainability.
Abhaya Educational Society has conducted training programs to 150 SHG women on backyard poultry and lamb rearing in 5 batches for a duration of 7 days per training program with financial assistance from NABARD and collaboration with DRDA from January 2020 to March 2020.
It is the small change that makes the biggest impact.
